VAIN DREAMER

    My name is Giovanni Lorenzo, I'm a Cuban-Puerto Rican born and raised in Queens, New York. Growing up in a Puerto Rican household in New York, I was around many different kinds of music. It wasn't until I moved to Puerto Rico that I eventually discovered my talent for making music myself.

    I picked up my first instrument during the aftermath of Hurricane Maria in 2017, a guitar gifted to me from my cousin. Soon after I bought a ukulele and started playing drums for the school band. By 2019, I had already started producing my first two EPs. I released the demos as "Vain Dreamer" in 2020, and continued making my 3rd EP, Cherished Faces. I released it in 2022, the same year I began studying Audio Production at Full Sail.

   Today, I'm an Audio Engineer, Music Producer, and Alternative/Indie Artist influenced by artists like Twenty One Pilots, The NBHD, The Strokes, Hippo Campus, and Her's. I'm currently working on Production and Mixing with other small artists, including Uly Venetz and Jungle Jahseh. I'm also working on a deluxe version of my most recent EP, Cherished Faces.
